Canadians Live Longer Lives

A new study has shown that Canadians are healthier and live longer than Americans. That was a bit obvious as we have universal health care. It's a bit weird that Americans are fighting against socializing health care. They should really get to know the truth and the greatness of providing care for the fellow human beings. Health care is a human right.
Canadians tend to lead longer, healthier lives than Americans on average, say researchers who point to lack of universal health care in the U.S. as one reason.
The study in Thursday's online issue in BioMed Central's journal Population Health Metrics was based on data from the 2002-03 Joint Canada/United States Survey of Health, which offered comparable data on the health of the population in both countries.

  2. If that's the case? Where are Canadians going to go for health care when the USA has the exact same problems as we do.
You really think Canadian health care is "better".
    You know it's not.
    "Access" might be.
    But not the care itself.
Ask Chretien,Stronach, and now the infamous Danny Williams.
These are all shameful, arrogant, despicable individuals who should be ashamed of themselves the rest of their lives.
Bashing the system you and so many other world leaders need to live shows how disgusting of a person you must be.

  4. I never said that the health care was better. But the system is. That allows more people to get a good level of care.

Also, there are a lot of American citizens who try to get Canadian health care. This just goes to show that some Americans want a Canadian system.

If you can prove this, I'll send you 5 dollars towards your local charity.
Sounds like a pretty crude joke about Americans.
No system like Canada's which can only compare itself to North Korea and Vietnam should be recommended anywhere in the world.
    Let alone Canada.

  6. That report is an attempt to apease Canadians into thinking they have the best health care system in the world. Well, I'm saying loud and clear both inside and outside Canada from experience, we do not. The garbage that is uttered in a so-called educated country regarding this issue is appaulling...it's political poop. I suggest research been done on the Island of Crete for example. There, people live a very long time from the kind of life style they live without much medical intervention. The Canadian System of Health Care is a wonderful concept in theory but the powers that be don't seem to be intelligent enought to see it through in practice.
