It's the Liberal Party's Fault

The Conservative Brainwashing squad is out in full force. Apparently, it's the because of the Liberals if we don't get the UN Security Council seat. So, if we do not get the Security Council seat, it's not because of what the Conservatives have or haven't done. It's because of those darned Liberals. This message won't get far at all. It is too farfetched to believe. Instead of blaming Liberals when we're not even in government, why don't they review the reasons why we didn't ge the seat if we don't. Then, we could arrive at the proper conclusion, not a partisan attack. Funny. The Foreign Affairs Minister said this.
On Wednesday, Foreign Affairs Minister Lawrence Cannon suggested the Liberals were trying to scuttle Canada's chances of winning. Speaking to a group of foreign ambassadors in Ottawa, he accused Ignatieff in particular of being "unable to put the interests of this country above the interests of his political party."
"One of the few persons who believes that Canada should not sit on the Security Council, unfortunately, is the leader of the Opposition, Mr. Ignatieff," he said.

  1. Interesting, I thought it was Harper who speaks for the Government of Canada.

For it to be the fault of the Liberals implies that the Liberals are more effective in communicating to the outside world than are the ruling government.

Is that the message the CPC really wants to send?

    LOL! Be my guest.

  2. When Ig was reported as saying Canada doesn't deserve a seat at the UN Sec C,
Portugal immediately handed copies of the article to the voting countries representatives, pronouncing that even Ig thinks Portugal should get the seat rather than Canada.

You don't attack your own country on the world stage.

  3. wilson says "You don't attack your own country on the world stage"

“Canada appears content to become a second-tier socialistic country, boasting ever more loudly about its economy and social services to mask its second-rate status.”

  6. Harper is being know world wide on his leadership and lies and his constant playing the blame game on on others rather than himself. The Cons are losing credibilty daily with the entire world and citizens of Canasda.

They are running scared and they should be because he's lost all credibilty to all of us with the exception of hard assed small minds of his in the bag supporters. News flash, there are not enough of you for him to win a majority and maybe even a minority. If I were him, I would be running scared too by the looks of him and his MP's.
